Question and hello from a new HHR owner/member

Hi everyone, I am soon to be a proud owner of a 2009 HHR Panel in black. Picking it up Thursday Feb 20th. Pretty happy to find this site with so many dedicated fans of this awesome car and didn't hesitate to sign up as a member. I was lucky to find a low mileage original example locally, and of course I'm anxious to start to personalize and do some mild customization to it.

The previous owner was a computer tech who removed the HHR-PANEL badge from the tailgate asuumeingly because it interfered with his company lettering. Does anyone know if this emblem/badge is still available from GM?

Suggestions on a good source for a custom grill are also welcomed. I'm in Ontario, Canada.

to the forum!

You might want to place a "Wanted" ad in our Classifieds section, debadging is quite common, and one of our members might have what you need just laying around in their garage.

Welcome to the site.

You could just call your local Chevy dealers parts department and ask if the emblems still available or if they have some in stock. I'm sure there are still some sitting on a dealers shelf somewhere. They keep items like that for body repairs.
The dealers have the ability to search each others parts inventory, and can get it shipped to your dealer.
Not gonna be a very expensive part, so that's probably the easiest way to obtain one.
