Does it have a maximum number of miles and then resets itself?

Currently only using the "A" trip odometer, to track miles per tankful . .

But I have now noticed twice the the "B" odometer, has reset itself . . .

I only have a mear 2,200 mile on the clock, and thought it was wierd that the "B" trip now says 89 miles, and I have never reset it . . .

I noticed mine seems to max out at 1000 and them starts over at 0.

It justs rolls over after 1000 miles (three digits 999.9) at least on my '06. Unless you reset it periodically. I use Trip A at gas tank fill-ups and B if I plan a road trip, or just let it roll over.

Had the same thing happen on a road trip, watched it hit 999 and it rolled to 0

Thanks for the info, I figured that was what it does. Just surprized me. On my Silverado, I use the second trip odometer to track annual business trip mileage, which gets up into 10,000+ miles.

Well thats probably why I got nearly 90 mpg one time!

I noticed that on my vacation. I was going to track the total mileage driven on B, but it kept reseting and kinda pissed me off.
