In the context of art and design, stuff today is “contemporary,” not” modern” like it is in common usage. Modernism ended somewhere around 1950, but maybe Art Deco echoes in that antenna, and of course all over the HHR. So you can call it modern, or postmodern, or contemporary, or anything you want.

Our roof antenna mimics the early ‘40s , like this 1940 Ford Deluxe coupe


This late ‘40’s early ‘50’s Buick had a centre of the windshield post antenna
