Yea, it doesn't make much sense, but I'll give the readers digest version.
I was drooling over these lil trucks from the first time Chevy hinted they were coming out. Everything was in place for me to get one, had it ordered and everything. Then . . . well let's just say drinking and driving mess up alot of plans for alot of people. Wife was hit by a drunk, and since I had a vehicle, and her's was mangled, she got the next vehicle. Luckily the dealer was very good to us, and worked around some things and the order for my HHR was canceled. Money and other things have again come to allow me to consider a HHR, and I still REALLY like the idea of the baby 'burb.

So that's the story, got bigger dogs now, just wanted to make sure I wouldn't have to add some support under the back floor when I hauled my 'spoiled athlete' around. I just started checking the forum again too, so I'm getting caught up on alot.

Thanks
to everyone for the responses. It'll only be in the lower position when the dogs are in it, so we're good to go that way.

Now to see the dark gray in person . . . . .

Sorry to hear about your wife and the accident. Glad she was okay. Should of, though, bought her the HHR Then you could get one and have the whole dual HHR's going on. One dog in each!

Thanks stick. She's got messed up knees from the accident, but it coulda been worse. Here is a pic of her smash up.
She's not really into the HHR like me, she likes her trucks bigger now.

We will see how things go. Trying to crunch numbers now.

I can understand why she likes her trucks bigger, and why her knees are messed up. OUCH!!!!!!!!! Hopefully the dumbass who hit her got what he/she deserved.

I've seen a pic with a St. Bernard in the rear with seats folded.

We are pretty sure he lost whatever he had after that accident. I know he spent almost 10 months in jail right after, and it's not over for him yet.

Going to get in touch a friend who used to be a sales manager at a Chevy dealer and run a few things by her. And try to find an 08 at a dealer to check out.
