Rear Power Plug for Converters?

how hard would it have been to give it to all of us... seem like to be consistent, which would be cheaper instead of making it 2 different ways, we should all have it.

I would pay someone else's hard earned money to get a pic of this in the panel. I added an extra factory output in the console and want to add one in the rear. I was thinking of putting it right below the access door to the tail ligh but if the panel has some cool mount, I would prefer to do it that way.
Any one feel like taking a picture of this rear outlet in their panel?

Yes, it is.
"Mabey a simple add on... " I have a total of 7 outlets in the HHR. The 2 factory ones, 2 on each side behind the waterfall near the floor and one next to the access panel inside the lift gate on the drivers side. Some are constant hot and some are only hot with the key on. Each has their own fuse.
You can get outlets, wire and fuses at any auto supply, Wallys or a unlimited number of on line places. A few terminal ends some wire and a $5 wire cutter/striper/crimper tool and you're good to go.

The switch is probably to use if the last place you are unloading from is the hatch of the panel. You can use it to lock or auto lock your panel truck so you don't have to fumble for your key fob with arms full of tools etc. Looks like someone actually thought about that one.
