Rear Quarter Panel was repainted. Now has hazy look
I was just wondering if anyone on here knew what could possibly cause this to happen. About a month ago I had a new rear bumper and the rear quarter panel repainted. Now after finally washing the car I noticed the paint looks hazy in 2 spots of the freshly painted quarter panel. The paint feels smooth but looks rough.

They look like buffer burns, but since they've recently appeared, it may be a reaction between any filler the body shop used and the primer/top coats.
A good body shop will back their work with a minimum 90 Day Warranty, some like my local body shop(Concord Auto Body, you're welcome for the free plug guys), back their work with a Lifetime Warranty.
So call 'em up and take it back, they'll want to see it, especially if they're having an issue with the materials they're using.
But I'm sure they'll make it right for you, and don't forget, if it was a repair covered by your insurance company...many of them have Warranties that extend or supercede the ones offered by the shop doing the work.

Could it be clear coat overspray that was missed on rub out?
I had something similar on an older car and found out the shop missed that portion of the rub out. It didn't really reveal itself for about 3 weeks. Upon return to the shop, they easily made the repair while I waited.....about an hour.
Just a thought..

It does resemble clearcoat overspray Snoopy, but with the images blown up to "really quite large" in PhotoShop, you can make out the feathering of the filler where they block sanded it.
Even new OEM replacement panels from GM need the odd touch of filler to deal with "shipping and handling" dings.

My 2 cents worth, Looks to me like it is in the base coat, sorta like what Oldblue and Grizzly says . Or maybe they brushed against the wet base coat or tried to sand a run in the base coat. Not in the clearcoat...john
