Rear seat door switches

first off i wish to say hello to the hhr group.

my question of concern is the rear side door power window switches. just discovered that they are not lighted at night. my back seat passengers are unable to locate them except by feel. my front door lock switches are lighted. i own a 2007 LS all in the door switches appear to be the same but with different icons. are all hhrs configured this way?

Welcome to the site!

No lights in rear window switches on any of the HHRs. Sorry.

Hopefully this is something they changed for the 2009 model.

I rode in the back of mine this Saturday evening for the first time. I couldn't find the switches either until I had felt all over the panel like I was frisking someone for weapons. Funny how things that you have clearly seen during the day time are completely erased from memory when it turns nighttime.

I'm sure the margaritas had no bearing on this either.

i wonder if i used some switches from the front if they would be lighted, or there might not be any wiring for a lighted switch back there?

Probably not...the switches in the back are the same style switch as the door lock switches in the front. While we're on this topic, is the driver's door power lock button the only one that is suppose to light up? My front passenger one doesn't...

Both drivers and passengers sides are supposed to light.
