Too much mirror

I must sit more forward than some, but my rear view sight picture included over a foot of (non essential) coverage on either side of the rear window. And the (non-Onstar) mirror took up too much forward view, IMO. So I found a mirror for a Jeep http://www.ebay.com/itm/271309403484...84.m1439.l2649 for $14 that was 8" wide (stock is 10") that fit perfectly. Funny thing is, I still see about a foot on either side of the rear glass. One eye picks up from that point to the edge, and the other eye picks up from the other edge to the original point. With both eyes open, the 2 views overlap giving you the original coverage. Toocool. A shorter mirror that gives you the same coverage with less blocked forward view.

UPDATE: The seller sent two mirrors by mistake (came packed two to a box) and said to not bother returning it. So I am selling it - and the original mirror cheap in the classified section if anyone is interested.
