Does your minivan have BIG wipers?
Just kidding!
We bought my wife a '06 Accord and the HHR is much quieter inside at highway speeds and smoother riding over all road bumps. To me, that is a huge accomplishment!
Way to go GM!

You can see the factory wipers move in the wind, well the wing part of them.

Here in Arizona you might as well take the wiper blades off and stick them under the seat! That way they'll be protected from the ever present baking Sun. Then on those rare occasions when there "might" be rain, you can put them back on for a couple of days!

The Bosch wipers I got also are quieter and smoother in operation than the stock ones. They also do a more effective job of cleaning the windshield, with less of it getting "splashed back" as was a common complaint with the stock wipers. No problems with lift at highway speeds. Those rubber fins on the stockers were pretty much unnecessary as far as I can tell.
What can I say, I live in the Seattle area. I guess I notice this stuff more than most.

While we're on the subjuct of noise, I drove the mother-in-law's Nissan Murano From Lake Havasu to Phoenix this last week... What a noisy uncomfortable POS that is! Tons of road noise and seats like rocks, my legs go numb after about an hour. My god, for the price they dropped the ball..... The HHR is light years better....
