I bought my 06 HHR in March 06. 89,000 miles now, I have had the shocks and struts replaced, the battery replaced, the tires replaces, the spark plugs replaced and still have the original brakes. I have averaged 30.6 mpg with the car. Under warrenty, Chevy fixed the key stuck in ignition, but no other issues.

2008 SS, 26K on the clock (bought it new) . Just replaced the tires. Aside from persistently leaky beads on the tires, I haven't had anything break or get fixed. So far not bad.

Waited to reply to this until I sat down with the service records from our 2006's first owner. It was built in October of 2005, they bought it new with 177 miles on the clock in January of '06.

At 21,000 miles the power steering motor was replaced under warranty, the radio head unit was replaced at 25,000 miles, and a water leak at the cowl was repaired at 31,000 miles.

Since we bought it in march of this year with 84,000 miles on the clock, the brakes have been done on the front, new sway bar end links and sway bar bushings were installed, and last weekend the rear wheel cylinders were replaced after I found one leaking during a check of the rear brakes. That's it except for the normal oil changes and filter changes over the last 24,000 miles.

We did install a GMPP cold air intake and a MagnaFlow exhaust along with aftermarket alloys and new Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires.

We are very happy with the little critter and like our other two, it runs like a Swiss watch and provides miles of smiles.
