Now that you have the fobs on the way it should only be about 90 bucks to flash them. They usually can do this right at the service counter in under a minute or two.(at least at my dealer).
I may have read this wrong, but why re-key the car, just have a 2nd key made for a few bucks, hell of alot quicker and cheaper

Not re-keying. Having 2 spares made. And programming them.
Fobs are the only thing I am not sure on now. With buttons for the cargo doors or without?

umm, im pretty sure a 2008 panel has buttons on the remote for popping the rear doors. Maybe pm a panel owner to make sure.

So it is a 6 button remote (as pictured), & GM part # is: GM / L:15114376

That's the remote I was going to order, but was unsure as when I ran the model check on the fob it popped up as not compatible.
Ah well.
I've managed OK for the last 6 months using just the key.... it'll wait until after Christmas.
