anybody have any problem with the remote on the rear view mirrors? Suddenly my remote only works for up and down adjustments, but not for left and right, any ideas other than chev dealer which would probably cost an arm and a leg

Is your car under warranty?

sorry, I should have mentioned, it, it's a 2007 LT with 56K miles, otherwise I love it.

If its both mirrors you're looking at a new switch by the sounds of it, you can try e-bay for that. If its just one mirror I'd suspect the gears in the mirror head have jammed or stripped out, again an e-bay sort of deal.

843, this may be covered under warranty. I would call your local Chevy dealership and ask the Service Tech. If not, find out the cost and go from there.

it looks like it's the switch cause both mirrors don't operate L & R direction. Do I have to pull the whole door panel to get to the switch or can I remove just the 2 bolts in the handpull recess to get at the switch? Has anybodyhad this problem or pullled a door panel?
Any suggestions would be helpful thanks
