Lock, Lock, RS

If your fob does not have the RS button Lock, Lock+Panic.

 

It does have that button. I did start once a few months ago but now I can't.
Haven't seen ur advice - Lock-Lock-RS.
Is it possible to STOP the engine remotely?

It only runs for 10-15 minutes.
It may have been turned off in the DIC personalization menu.
Maybe your hood latch switch is bad
Maybe there is some OBD code active

The reason for the double lock is to ensure all doors are locked then the combo of Lock then RS is the actual command.

 

I meant I wanted to try to start the engine from my apartment but didn't want to come out and shut it down. That's why I asked if it is possible to do it remotely(to stop).
There are no OBD codes.
What is the DIC personalization menu? Where is it?

Your vehicle has personalization capabilities that allow you to program certain features to a preferred setting. All of the features listed may not be available on your vehicle. Only the features available will be displayed on the DIC. The default settings for the features were set when your vehicle left the factory, but may have been changed from their default state since that time.

again: it worked once but it doesn't work again and again. I have no idea why... maybe I do it so fast...

 

Have you cleaned the contacts inside the fob? Could just be that...

 

No, the fob is new. I used it for 1 month or less
