Remote Start Discovery
#12
Ha Ha .. My biggest problem is, i'll remote start the car, get out to it, get in and either stick the key in and not turn it or not stick it in, and ill try to put the car in reverse . obviously it wont budge and then i feel dumb for not turnin it actually on. ... AND i also agree with im glad it doesnt grind the flywheel.

yah once it's started by remote and you get in and put your key in, one turn to where it clicks is your Acc. setting, 2nd click is the ON setting, where you want to be and you will notice dash lights and all that. But on other cars i have had before, if you turned past the ON, just like you were going to start the car (but it's already running) you would grind it.

44 degrees/66 degress MUST BE NICE! I'm currently in Northern Arizona it's 0930 and the temp JUST GOT UP TO 32 degrees!! Was 25 when I got up and 30 minutes ago. Remote start OH YES! but like in another thread I'd like it to run a bit longer than the 2 10 minute runs.

My boss has a prius, and you can literally do that. As long as the key is within a certain distance of the car it works. When you get near it it unlocks the doors for you, she hops in and hits the "start" button and off we go. Not a bad trick.
