Probably 12 years on the fire truck and 4 years in the ambulance. It's the "the worst is already over, so what can I do about it now?" mentality. :)

We'll see your ladder and raise you a muffler! Your very lucky it wasn't worse! In this picture we were going about 70 mph and the car in front of us ran the muffler over and spit it out right at us! Went through the windshield, through the cab, out the rear window and into the bed of our Colorado! Didn't touch anything inside the cab, Whewwww...... Oh and it took the driverside wiper with it as it was found with the muffler in the bed!

You win! :)

I see you're in the Bay Area. Interestingly enough, I'll be working in Fremont next week, flying in to SFO Saturday.

I am astonished to find this to be true. My windshield has a couple of hundred minute chips ... and I know I have not had a couple of hundred stones hit me. So what caused these marks which are seen when the sun glances off the glass?

OEM glass is softer than aftermarket, I've heard (eyes roll) for safety in case someones' head goes thru it..

Otherwise they do pit too easily imo.. I think even heavy dirt particles could mark it at speed..
