I've never had a new vehicle before and I'm always a little nervous taking a vehicle to the dealer after hearing horror stories. I'm optimistic that these minor issues will be taken care of perfectly and I'm sure this work would all be covered under warranty wouldn't it? Still, I wonder if there will be some charges assessed to me (admin charge? tax? service fee? deductible?) after all is said and done.

I don't know what to expect as I've never dealt with warranty work before.
The warranty repair process is painless. They may or may not be able to find and fix all of your issues the first time, but if it's a reputable dealer it should be done for free no problem.

Is it only at lower speeds that you hear it?

My car is in the shop now to replace a sway bar end link and they just gave me a call. The original part number was superceded by a new part number so they ordered the newer one. They cut off the old one (quicker than unbolting? ) and the new one is too long! The other part will be overnighted and this dealership is good about giving loaners. I just hope I don't get the Daewoo station wagon again.

Thanks, pitbull. I was at the dealer on Friday (from 9:30am to 4:15pm ) and they took care of the recall issue, the detached headliner and the front end rattle, which ended up being the steering column. They have the new armrests on order as well.

Apart from the wait time (which I didn't mind too much as I had the day off myself) the process was painless, and free as you said.

Thanks again!
