"Road Rippers" HHR large toy

I folks. I found a source for the big plastic HHR toys that seem sold out everywhere. I got one today that the Detroit airport's GM gift store. They have several, along with some other cars in the same series. Just thought I'd let y'all know if you want one in the Detroit area. Black with yellow graphics.....mine will get painted white to match "Elvis". God Bless, Marc

I need to get mine painted black--and see if I can get the pin striper to paint it for me too! For now, it is on a shelf...next to my spare grill.

I need to see that one pinstriped. Challenge a striper and you may be amazed.

By the way, does your play The Jackson Five? I was hoping for Brian Setzer, Gene Vincent, or Elvis.

God Bless, Marc

Cool! How much did you have to give for it? Passed up way too many of these over the past couple of years at Wally World, Target, & Toys-R-Us.

Jackson Five, ABC-123
I think I can get my guy to do it! That's how I ended up with my laptop painted..he saw a "flat" surface (his girlfriend warned me he would want to paint it), and I said go for it!

What kind of paint would you use to paint it? Mine is gray with orange stripes.

Jeff396 I have a car like your avatar, 'cept mine is Daytona Blue.

How's this? The things I do for you folks. ;-) Heh, heh. I paid $24.99, and it is one of the only HHR toys out there on the market. It's about the size of a shoebox. Good sized product. I think it needs some Road Rippers Cobalt SS springs to go under it to lower it a bit. The white letters have to go too.

I think any model paint would be appropriate. I think Testor's spray paint would work fine. I am going to ask a local modeler to paint mine as a shiny finish takes some skill.
God Bless, Marc
