Oh yea I saw it and should of sprayed it while i had it apart i just don't want the hose to fall apart. Lol.

You remove the MAF and spray MAF cleaner on it. I don't know what you are talking about.

Check the two idle valves. The VVTs. Run a code scan to see if they are malfunctioning.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm referring to. Once my HHR had a bit of a rough idle at certain times. I dismissed it and the car started shutting off. I ran a scan test and it was the VVT solenoids. I'm not saying that's it but, if you run a scan test it will show up as a P0010 or some other code similar to that. If you get a code, just check it with Google and that will tell you what it is for the hhr. They are easy to replace. Video on YouTube. Just make sure if you replace them, that they are seated all the way down on top of the motor to prevent leaks.

I prefer to ask people post just the OBDII code here as sometimes they get misinformed at the parts counter, we will give a straight answer as to what is causing the code!
