http://hhrboutique.com/items/hhr-ext...nes-detail.htm

Since i'm keeping the LT2 i am busy making my yearly modding list. Not sure how much i'll get to do with the wedding and all but im going to give it hell.

Does anyone know how these Stainless steel running board caps hold up with Salt? Will it Pit etc?

Thats my read too. I think it will look great. Pricey maybe but nevertheless will look real nice. Good question on the salt vs. aluminum. If they are clear coated youd think they would be ok in the salt.

WTF do I know, I live in Calif.........I dont know salted roads

A big factor will be what amount of the chloride in the "salting" mixture your community uses. Regardless, vehicle corrosion will be accelerated but at a varying rate dependant on the amount of chloride used.
