Check out this pic I took today for fun, 'cause my reading was 77 degrees at 8888 miles...
This leads me to wonder, as 1 of my coworkers got me thinkin' this...
Look at the 2nd & 4th 8's of the mileage...don't they look kinda like 6s?!?
They're not, as my HHR hit 8888 miles today. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?
Am I missing some dots in my digital readout?!?
WEIRD!

Yeah!, that does look weird, they can't be 6's though, 6's on the readout have a diffrent shape to it,, Wheelie milage is in the low 6,000ths, so I wont be able to see if he develops that same myterious problem for another 6 months.

The angle may have been bad or the dots may not have been bright enough for the CCD in the camera to pick them up. The way to tell is to place the ignition switch on the "run" position and look at the display "flash" all the pixels at once. Vacuum fluorescent displays often have a few pixels that are a little dimmer than others when viewed from an angle.
