sad day

well being the romantic idiot that i am , i decided to drive to the lake , only a few miles from my home , to watch the snow fall....we don't get alot of snow here.....it was really pilling up fast....and i still have the oem firehawks on the front....i have never had any problem driving in the snow , especailly with front wheel drive...i guess the snow pilling up so fast and my tires having 120,000 miles on them done me in....i was sliding everywhere , and finally ended up in a ditch....i think my 08 panel was fine , until they tryed to pull it out....the rear door was open , it stuck in the bank and bent completely foward.....also my drivers door glass shattererd when we were getting out , i guess just because of the angle.....i am so very sad about my panel....i really miss it.

Glad you're okay. Sorry to hear about the HHR. I know all too well how you can miss it. While it's in the shop, the least they could do is give you another HHR to drive...................NOT A KIA SPECTRA!!!!!!! Sorry for yelling.

Sorry to hear about the accident and good thing no personal injury. But.....120k on tires??!? Wow, what is the tread depth on those? Here in the mitten state I'm looking at changing tires on my '07 Sierra after 58K and they still have 5/32" tread depth-but Suck in the snow.

I am sorry to hear about the mess Joe. I am glad you are okay. I guess you didn't get those spare tires on then? I hope you have a good shop locally to get the repair work done. Hang in there. God Bless, Marc

Sorry to read this. Glad to see no-one was hurt, cars are usually easier and cheaper to repair.
