Salvage Yard Search Engine

I found this search engine a while back and if you haven't looked here for parts you should. Put in your car info, what part you are looking for and zip. It will bring up all the salvage yards with that part in North America. You can search by price, distance, part grade, ect. The yards I have checked out say they update every night. Check it out...

thats what most "key" body shops/repair shops use to find parts... thing is tho... its 'chop-shop' quality... meaning... if you are looking for a little specific component you may have to buy the whole thing thats attached to it--- ie: i needed a 'dash pad' (the top part of the hhr dashboard, BUT i could only buy the whole dashboard as an entire unit, i used that to find and buy panel doors to put on my LS AA5 (half panel) and it did a great job at describing the doors conditions -- basicly picked em up and bolted them on-- AA quality, cept the interior panel had a gouge in it (in a location im cutting out anyway) but an excellent site none the less

great post ^_^

i have tried using this before. But i really would just like to look for all of the hhrs in the area instead of specifying a part. I don't know exactly what i am looking for, but if something catches my eye...

You may want to edit your post and get rid of the face behind the link... Took me a minute to figure out, but it's adding it to the link, and disabling it.

We used there service to locate an 07 Ebony Leather SS Cobalt Steering Wheel w/ Radio Controls! $75.00 plus $15.00 to Ship! I really like that there is no cost to the buyer !
