Saw a HHR SS today!
I stopped at a fast food place today in Novi, Michigan and while the kids were inside using the restroom, a black HHR SS drove by me! It must be a GM test car or something, but it looked like it had a regular plate on it and it also looked like it had the cheap plastic plate surround from a dealership too. It was cool to see driving by....

i tried, but it went by way too fast. At first I thought it might have been Hillsdale cause of the three bar gill all black, but as it got closer i saw the ground effects and the SS badges on it. It was definately a SS. Now to figure out who at GM is driving one.....

Probably a production test mule.
I've seen pictures of earlier HHR test mules, and the Michigan plates looked the pretty much same as the regular plates, except I think they had "manufacturer" on the bottom of them.
