I never took the time to look, but can you still get a new HHR "Without" running boards?
I thought they all had them after all the chipping problems on the rear door panels back in 2006.

 

Most still come that way and they are chipping away at all the LS since 2006-2010.

 

Not to beat it to death, but at least for the newbies newer than I who haven't gotten used to the low windshield, lightinsight is no drilling or magnets and you can keep your eyes straight ahead. You can see it on my windshield in my gallery pictures.

The 2010 are chicklet free. (stepsider)
They musta had some 'left over' chicklets when I got my '10 model panel, because mine came with 'em. It also has a "PANEL" emblem right below the HHR emblem. And, of course, the 'Flex Fuel' emblem...
