Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot.
Just want to turn off the chime. Why do so many jump to conclusions?

Exactly just because I want to stop the door chime doesn't mean that I want to drive around with the doors open.

Thought I would "chime" in. Everyone is my family always where's a seat belt.
After a bad wreck and my son's knee cap was destroyed we all learned are leason. Even the teenage who knows it all.
With that said, I still hate the chime.

As I cleared the end of my truck an 18 wheeler hit it and carried it another 150 feet down the freeway. I literally felt the wind rush by me as I cleared the truck. The investigator said the extra second or two it would have taken me to unlatch the seatbelt would have put me beside my truck when the 18 wheeler hit it. It's more of a gut feeling for me when I get in the vehicle although I admit I wear it more than I go without it. Especially in the Dallas area, the cops definitely look for seatbelts!!! I got a ticket a few years ago to prove it....my attorney said to just pay it, no use fighting the ticket.

CBL

Was that in a MOVIE!!!!

There exceptions, but not many!!!

I wear mine because I had to when I was in the Army and now, because Illinois has seen fit to again invade my personal liberties and my car I wear it to avoid the ticket. I guess I haven't really noticed the seat belt warning, but I do thank GM for not making the turn signal indication sound as annoying as the one in my kid's "03 Focus, I would sell that car just to rid myself of that sound...I am now trying to convince him to trade for an HHR...

Our turn signal plays through the speaker system. It's pretty damn annoying.
