Cool See Everyone Around

Well Gang, I'll be visiting here a whole lot less. We traded the HHR SS on a 'Vette over the weekend. If anybody is interested, you can find our old HHR at James Wood in Denton on their Used Car Lot. I'm pretty certain it will become a CPO.

I want to thank everybody here for your advice and help the last few years.

The collective knowledge here is quite impressive, and I hope that my few contributions were appreciated.

Regards to All!

Mike

What year Vette?

I could see myself doing that someday, actually. I'm thinking any C5 would do, for me. But with kids learning to drive in the next few years, NOT having a Corvette in the garage may help me postpone a few grey hairs as well!!! Good luck with it!

Congrats on the Vette!

Don't be a stranger and stop by every once and a while OK.

Did you buy the Blue, 2004, Coupe? I was looking at the Silver, Conv. 1998 at Woods last week.

Yup,
We drove the '98 and even though it was a low miles car, it was a little too worn for us. the '04 is sweet.
FWIW we had an '04 before but it didn't work for us at the time (handicapped daughter was still at home), so this is just like the other one except it's blue.

I'll be spending more time at corvette forum now, and I'll take my experience and ideas from here over there. I wonder what a Blue vette would look like with an inlaid wood rear storage area?

BTW Interest rates on loans are incredible right now. I got 2.7% from BoA.

How much did James Wood give you on trade for your SS & how many miles were on it?

I love the blue on those C5's.

Just under 32K miles
$15K in trade
Vette was $23.8 with TTL (they were asking $26.9)
We all are pretty happy I think.

My guess is they gave $23K for the vette and they'll ask around $18K for the SS

$23.8K is a great price for that blue Jewel.
