Selling HHR from Canada to USA?

It may happen in the near future that I will sell my company HHR. It could easily go to someone in the company down in Texas.

I'm in Canada, and this vehicle was mfg'd in Vancouver BC.

Would appreciate information about any differing standards between the two countries that might hinder this idea.

Thanks!

All HHR's are MGF'd in Mexico. Perhaps you meant the HHR was equipped for work in BC?

The car is better off staying in Canada. Even though you can read either KM or miles on the DIC and odometer, the chain of title is where most of the issues come into play. Most states also mandate an extensive emissions and safety check for imported vehicles.

Grumpee, I was told by the dealer that it was mfg'd in Vancouver. This is when I was checking on a block heater being included with it.

Even if it was made for Canada in Mexico - Chev was a bit dumb to not have a block heater as standard, or a highly recommended option.

hhrcrafty, I am the second owner...so we'll have to see what happens.

If nothing else, I may be posting it for sale in March, and will post on here as well.

2007 HHR Panel SS, auto, 40,000+ km. Avg 8.6 - 8.7 l per 100 km
