Shakey Steering wheel

it does this only sometimes and at various speeds between 60 and 80 and it seems very random has anyone had this issue or something similiar, or possibly even know how to remedy it

in looking at your rims, do you see evidence of any weights missing ?

off the brakes just driving on the freeway and it doesnt always happen and I know its not the road conditions

Are your tires wearing evenly? Mine was doing the same thing until I got new tires

It sound like a bent wheel or bad tire. Move the tires to the rear and see if it is gone.

Also look for uneven wear.

Any dirt accumulated on the inside ledge of the wheels? After driving on dirt roads or in cold weather, ice can pile up on the inside of the rims.

I had this, and the wheels needed to be rebalanced. Either the original weights came off, or they never got put on when the new tires were put on before I bought it. (I'm going with the latter, since the dealer that put them on is now closed...)

But I had them balanced ($36), and it's all taken care of.
