Shifter Squeak
I have a 2007 2LT 2.4 with the Auto transmission.
I have squeaks and creaks in the shifter area while driving over bumps, bad pavement, etc. It is not the chrome decorative surround which I have removed to see if that was the issue, but the noise is coming from the plastic shifter assembly. I don't see any culprit in there other than really tight fitting plastics that don't appear to be lubed with silicone but it is tough to see what may be the cause.
Anyone else had this problem fixed?

i have noises come from the bottom of the waterfall, down by where the rear wiper button is. Problem= its a Chevy they all squeak lol. i have had like 8 Chevys so I'm used to it now dealer cant ever fix mine they say the do and it never is.
