Just had some new tires mounted on the 17's at Wal-mart of all places, and they did a good job balancing the tires. No shimmy. I was a bit worried after reading about some problems balancing these rims, but I had it up to 80 today, and it was smooth.

Mine is in the garage today for a wobble when I accelerate. The guy who tried it out said he felt it but he's not sure so it is in today to get looked at better. He mentioned this could be a feature with the HHR. I don't think so why on earth would they make a car wobble when you drive it..stupid stupid. I could be going 25 or 50 it doesn't matter. It also vibrates when I break as well.

I have this problem with my 07 LT with 17" wheels. I replaced the rotors and pads and wheels and tires and problem got worse. Put my old wheels and tires back on and it was like it was before I started. I now have 4 new chrome wheels and tires for sale. What a nightmare this has been and what a waste of money.
