Shopping for replacement, think I found a unicorn
Since Balerion is dead and there's still noting like the HHR out there, I've been looking for another one.... and I think I found something that might be too good to pass up.
2009 SS silver, automatic, half panel, 101k miles.
Yup, a turbo AA5. I doubt anyone here realizes what it is... should I make sure it has a nice home? Only seen it in the car rags so far, but if it's worth looking at, I'll try to go see it tomorrow.

If it's got the GMTU that the connections have been done the correct way.
When I got mine, I had them put it up on a lift before I agreed to buy it, so I could inspect it. If they refuse saying it's a hassle or some other b/s, don't do it!
Also, ask for a CAR-FAX if you can get your hands on it. If not, may be worth it to do one yourself if he's got a shi**y reputation.

blue bosch labeled sensor on the motor in front of the air box, and also labels either on the inside hood or inside the fuel door, then it has the GMTU
drive and and make sure you dont hear any strange noises up front from the suspension, even though it is typical for these to have a "thump" kind of sound from the sway bar bushings or end links. check to see if it has Brembo's up front on the brakes. if it has the GMTU it should pull around 20psi, stock will be about 15psi
half panel is the rarest of these trucklets!

Super rare, about 400 built from what I could find. I'll take a picture of the glove box door to get the RPO codes.

if it has the upgrade then it should have the bosch Tmaps and the labels, honestly the best way to tell in my opinion is drive it, if it is hitting 20psi or more when WOT then it has the upgrade or some sort of tune on it
the tmaps are 2.5 bar I believe not 3 bar, just fyi
