I for one have done some circuit board etching starting from the breadboard, but as hokey as the electrical systems are with the HHR, I doubt that I want to nor have the time to mess with it. I might try it on a project vehicle like my 64' Chevy if I were to get the seat coils, but I don't have to rely on that car.

I imagine that it would bring an extra $40 to $50 for aftermarket OEM's who market heated seat kits.

What sort of warranty would be offered with this product? What sort of assurance is there that the circuit board will not cause issues with overheating and potential fire hazards and such?

I really like the idea of having the heated seats turn on with the remote start in cold weather but because of the potential for things to go wrong it makes me very hesitant to buy such devices from non OEM sources.

well for the module would have a 30 day warranty on it. I have tested it for over 2 weeks with no problems. Unfortunately there are three wires you have to solder in your AC Control Unit, and I would not be responsible for problems with this part of the installation. All modules sold would be fully tested prior to shipping.

Also, there is no reason for overheating, because it is only sending a 8 second pulse of 12Volt posiive and then turns itself off!!!

i am not a supported vendor yet, nor am i selling this yet. This is just for informational purposes, and someday soon, after becoming a supporting vendor, i may sell this product. As per forum rules, i will go through all channels to get this product on the market. I will not sell a single product until then. Thanks for understanding!
