I just posted some pix on Sindy's forum of my HHR up on the scissors jack, I went out to see if the 70" pipes would interfere with jacking it up to change a tire. As you can see, the scissors jack works just fine with the 70" lake pipes.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not pushing the 70" pipes over the 60's. I'm just letting you know that the factory scissors jack will still work if you have a flat.
The length of pipe you select is based on what you like best. I know that many love the look of the 60's, but for me, I like filling up the space from wheel well to wheel well.

I know its a stretch, but does anyone think the pipes would deter some of the chipping? Anyone have pipes and no running boards? Id rather install the pipes than the running boards...
