snow

Well what's the verdict. Is the HHR able to go in snow or is it a just another toy that needs to sit in the garage until everything is clean?

The HHR isn't that bad in the snow but the Firehawk GTAs that come front the factory suck in the snow IMO.

I agree. The tires are not designed for the northeast or other snowy areas of the country. Anyone have any ideas what might be a good tire?

I live in Michigan and haven't had any problems with the HHR in snow.
But then again my first car was a 1976 Olds 98 with a 455 with bald tires. Car taught me quick

I like Winterforce winter tires. They are cheap and work well.

Well, I just got my HHR a week ago and we just had a blizzard here in NJ. I thought the HHR did fine. It's certainly not of 4x4 caliber but it's as good as any front wheel drive car I've had. My other car is a 3 series BMW and I wouldn't even try it in the snow, I've had no luck in the past. Traction control, blahhh, doesn't help the bmw much. It's sitting outside my house in a snow grave so to speak...
