They are put on at the plant, not at the dealership. All HHRs are made at the same Mexican plant.

Maybe YOU would think it doesn't make them bad buys, but I would NEVER, EVER in my whole life think about buying a used rental car.

Best idea: like you said, RUN from that one. Wonder if the buyer who wound up winning at $12.8K knows it was a rental. Betcha he doesn't.

And since it is a private auction, no one can email the poor guy

and tell him. Wonder if the seller made it private so no one could... hmmm

Same here and the LS I had as a rental was the same way. And after having the rental I do not think I would ever buy one unless it was dirt cheap
