Something I have noticed about "us."
I'm a New HHR owner, Only had mine for two days so I've been driving the heck out of it. I come up with excuses to drive it. In the few miles I've put on the car I've noticed something. Like bikers and boaters, HHR folks seem to go out of their way to be kind to another HHR driver.
Example: I was heading South on I-35 yesterday and passed another Imperial Blue Metallic HHR as he was getting on the Highway and I'm merging to let him and the rig he's following on the highway. I look back and he's waving. I stuck my hand out the window and waved.
Example: Heading North on Broadway Ext last night, I get in behind a White HHR. It's about to get dark so I can see through the back window into the cab. That driver is waving too. I stuck my hand out the window and waved back.
So I suppose my question is: Does everyone make it a point to wave to other HHR owners? Is there some unspoken rule that we do?
IMHO, we should. I love the community surrounding this car - I think it's cool.

Wrangler style wave
Got my first wave today
Just a way to say hello
Well, it finally happened
Do you wave at other HHR drivers

Every once in a while I'll wave at another HHR but get no response as the driver seems to be a driving drone-eyes fixed straight ahead, death grip on the steering wheel, oblivious to the fact they're driving a pretty neat little Chevy.

I've only had my HHR SS for two days, but I find that most people are staring because I haven't seen any other SS models around here and they notice mine looks a little different.
The waving behavior is pretty normal in the vintage VW crowd (more peace signs with the VW Bus though...) but it will be cool if HHR's owners were the same someday.

Around my way I get few waves. Mostly scowls from people who seem disgruntled about life. I bond with no other HHR owners locally. They all seem like jerks.
Had the car two years and have met only two nice HHR owners.
Seems like a lot of nice peole in our forum though

I always "try" to wave to my fellow driver . . .
In my Camaro, wave to Camaros.
My HHR wave to HHR's
When I had my GTO wved to fellow GTO'ers . . .
Now the Cadi . . . most are too pompus to respond . . .

Hhmm, maybe us panel owners are the black sheep of the HHR owners. I exchange waves with other panel owners but most window versions don't even notice me. Maybe because most HHR drivers I see are middleage women and I look like one who shouldn't be trusted!
