'Southern Coach' edition HHR

'Southern Coach' edition HHR
I saw this bright white HHR in our parking lot. It said 'Southern Coach' on the back:
Hmmm, I'd never seen or heard of that HHR model before.
It was owned by a suspension technician who came up here from South Carolina for service training. I asked him if I could take a peek inside. The thing is loaded! I asked him if it was a custom job & he said he bought it that way from the dealer. It has white accents on the center interior dash panel, window switch panel & the door accent strips. The window vent visors are also color-matched white.
Lots of options including leather, sunroof, st. wheel controls, running boards, chrome package, etc. About the only thing missing is the roof rails! I bored him with my list of HHR mods. He seemed mildly interested.
Anybody else seen one of these southern editions?
I did notice a small bubble on his rear bow-tie.

I would assume it is a dealer specific "package." All those pieces in white can be easily removed and sprayed in a dealers body shop (or anywhere.) I painted the center stack and window switch trim pieces a metallic blue a little while after I purchased my HHR.

calgary got it there. Farrell Chevrolet in Simpsonville SC. They do it on a couple of models, just add little accents here and there to an already loaded vehicle, and up the price by like $4k for it.....
I'm from upstate SC, went to that dealership, but caught a bad salesman that turned me off to them real quick..

There's a lot of rebuilders out there that take cars and make "special editions" out of them. Companies like Southern Comfort, Sherrod, and a few others build special models and sell the to dealers. It could be a canned package that dealers buy looking to offer something a little more unique and usually charge a premium for.
