Spare tire drain hole fix

Recently went to replace battery in wifes 06 hhr and found at least 3" of water so i knocked out a plug to drain it and now i am looking for something to seal it back up with. Is there maybe a rubber plug i can seal it up with?
Car sat for about a year so it is now being scrubbed top to bottom to get rid of the mildew.

Try looking at the local Pick-a-Part. Measure the hole, go to a hardware store or auto parts store look through the parts bins. Gasp, go to a dealer parts department.

There is no quick fix, other than finding the same sized plug you removed. If you drilled a hole and you didn’t mention the size of the hole, how can you expect us to know what to recommend.
My suggestion was going to be Flex Seal tape or putty , which would be more expensive, so I refrained.
Perhaps if you posted a photo of the opening you need to seal up, would help.

Donbrew gave you 4 options. Not sure why you got bent out of shape about it.

But to the forums!

I bet the (gasp) dealer price is less than $5. You might find them in a variety pack at a place like Tractor Supply for more. I assumed that you you wouldn't ask the question if you didn't know that rubber plugs are a common item in the right kind of store.

You might look into ToastMasters to learn how to win friends and influence people. I am only mildly offended by your reaction.
