Special Edition production #'s 7 another thought

Hey all you SE folks. I'm on the verge of buying a '07 SE Primier. Therfore I'm doing some research. It seems there are more questions than answers at this point. I've gone down this path in yrs past with a 1984 1/2 Mustang Anniversery edition GT 350. Perhaps a file on the Forum for Special Edition owners where they could regrister their vins & build dates. Over time we'd have a count. Just a thought.

Webster's defines Premiere as:

I tried to get everyone to register their VINs a long time ago as I had the same questions. Someone wondered if this might be an avenue for theft - I can't imagine, but who knows. Anyway, if you search around you will find a thread I started showing my VIN number in it. I have the Premire Edition '07 - Cap. Frost. Take a look at my VIN and compare yours to see the relationship.

Take a look at the post I made up some time ago. If you care to enter your Premire # there it might show something.

Wow! This thread is so old I didn't even remember making the comment above!

Well, not to quibble <start quibbling here> but my dictionary shows p-r-e-m-i-e-r-e to mean "first; initial; principal" and p-r-e-m-i-e-r to mean "first in rank; chief; leading". So, the Premiere Edition would be the first but not necessarily the best. It appears that, after creating and selling the Premiere Edition, cooler heads prevailed and the Fall Edition was created-- the inference being that the changes were a logical progression towards a better car....
But it's okay-- I love 'em both

I'd have the say that the Spring Edition was p-r-e-m-i-e-r-e & p-r-e-m-i-e-r !!

Oh yeah! Love the Spring Edition too! Especially yours, although it bears very little resemblance to the original ride
