A special THANK YOU

I just wanted to thank someone in public, on this site.

His user name is

Phil aa5

he recently sent/sold me his factory ebony cloth front and rear seat covers.
the upholstery shop that removed his covers had made a mistake...

I brought it to his attention when I did my install on SUNDAY.
The post office was closed Monday for the holiday.
Phil corrected the mistake, and sent me the missing pieces.

I got them today, Thursday at 11:00am...on the left coast.

So I wanted to share my good story with you folks, and remind you that Phil stood behind what he sold me, went out of his way to correct a mistake that the upholstery shop made, and rectified the entire situation in less than 3 working days.

Keep this in mind whenever you see Phil making a post here, and for the sake of good karma, help him out anyway you can, should he need it.

Phil...awesome pal. Thank you BIG TIME...I can complete my project now.

Hey Smoke Wagon.....did you just purchase some wheels and tires off of ebay? The wheels were black and chrome or machined, I can't remember exactly...anyway...I saw those and was interested in getting them for my car, but when I saw that you were bidding on them, well I wouldn't bid against you....let me know if you did indeed get them and how they look...maybe even post some pics....

Thanx...Anita

krooz....

nope. I appreciate you not bidding against me, but i did not end up winning that auction....

they did look like nice wheels, and the seller is close to me, so I could have done a local pick-up, but I didnt want to spend any more than my highest bid, and so someone else won them.

Thanks again.

How did you know it was me? My EBAY name is totally different.

I read the questions section of his ebay sale and saw where you had asked him a question and signed it "Smoke Wagon".....pretty astute of me don't you think? (teeheehee)

Sorry to hijack the thread......my bad........

Thanx...Anita

I'll watch for him!

I'm pretty cut throat when it comes to being a buyer on eBay. If it's something I want, I don't even pay attention to who I'm bidding against! But am very forgiving as a seller!

now if the rest of the world were like the members of this (our) forum, we wouldn't have any problems to Phil and all that think like him.

Always good to hear a positive review of someone! You usually only hear the negative. Way to go, Phil!

Cool. What else does Phil want to sell? Maybe he should open his own store and teach others how to be
