Spied: Nürburgring-bound Chevrolet HHR SS!

These latest shots by our friends at KGP Photography show that Chevrolet’s HHR SS is entering its final stages of testing with a more polished look. Caught in Germany getting ready for a run ’round the ‘Ring, the HHR SS looks but a quick tape removal session away from production.
The front bumper and lower fascia is significantly more pugnacious than the standard HHR, nicely integrating a sizeable mesh-covered air intake. Additionally, the slatted chrome upper grille looks to have been ashcanned in favor of a mesh unit. The whole front end is tied in more cleanly with the vehicle’s profile thanks to a pair of chunky running boards. The rear end appears to be quite close to stock, save a more prominent driver’s side exhaust

It’s probably because they did not want to reveal anything more than they had to. They needed to have the bigger front for the Turbo intercooler.

Black tape will do that! Check out the HHR and LT badges, they taped over them too. Good eye, I didn't even notice.

Rear discs. Good.
I wonder of we can buy them for our "Older " models when the SS is in production?
