Squeaky suspension

Has anyone experienced squeaky suspension when it is cold?
The dealer will not look at it unless they hear it. But it is usually to warm in town. I work in the mountains where it can get to 20 below zero. It is worse when temps are below 20. I think it is the sway bar bushings but not sure.

I've heard plenty of people complain about this... I don't drive my HHR in the winter, so it doesn't effect me....

Yeah,it's a sway bar bushing noise called "squawk".No fix for it for our cars.GM 'W" body cars had the same noise several years ago and the fix for them was a Teflon lined bushing.

Same squeaks here. This morning it was -40F and I drove the car 110 miles. The squeaks seemed the worst during gradual dips in the road. Sharp dips did not cause the squeak. The front struts and sway links have been replaced within the last 25K miles.

It normally goes away with warmer and dryer temps. Just hard urethane bushings.
