If the decision is not based on money, go for the SS. I just had a blast cruisin with a super low fat tire chopper (wcc style) through route 2 at errr...hmmmm... 60 miles per hour (wink wink). He was all knees-to-the-pavement, and I was all 15psi-shouda-ordered-the-dam-swaybar. It must be a trip to see a retrowagon roll through dead-man-curb on the inside lane at errr ....hmmm 30 miles per hour, and then into the west 2 spur at err 25ish, then full boost until the route 2 cuyahoga bridge. What a ride my friend, the LT is cool, but WHAT A RIDE.

Grandmas do 60 on Rt 2. I've done East bound dead-man's at 75, no sweat. West bound, maybe 60 because there's always been traffic. If I had this car when I was going to CSU...
I don't get that way often now.

SS for sure, I wouldn't even have looked at my Premiere Edition had the SS been available when I purchased.

Drive both back to back as the drive will tell you what one you want.

I suspect I know after the drive what one you will pick it thenwill be just a matter of color.

My test drive told me in just a few miles driven.

Make sure if you drive a SS to drive the tranny you want as they do perform differently. Niether is bad just different.

You will not need a coin after your test drives.

I had the same problem. I preferred the chrome and running boards, but loved the way the SS drove. The SS looses some of that retro look unfortunately.

I went with the SS because to me it's the driving experience that was more important.

I was in the same situation. I was all set on the LT2, then I drove the SS. After the ride and performance I purchased the SS. Either way you will have fun.

Hey sargechris, we will have an assortment of models on Saturday--LS, LT 1 and 2's, an AA5, custom panel and an SS...

See you perhaps!

If the SS is in your budget then there is no question about it... SS ...If you go with the LT later down the road your gonna wish you would of got the SS, but if you get the SS your never gonna regret it and never gonna wish later down the road that you should of gone with the LT....

Who can argue with this logic?
