SS Searching!

I had a Guy knock on my door today and tells me he passes by my house everyday on his way to work and admires my SS. He tells me that he had a chance to buy one but he and the dealer couldn't come to terms on the price he wanted to pay. He then tells me he was a previous PT GT Turbo owner and after he sold it he started looking at HHR SS' which that is the only model he likes.

He then tells me that he was willing to buy mine if i wanted to sell it and i just smiled and said NOT!!! I did tell him i would look on our Forum cause i know we had a few sellers here. He gave me his number and said to please keep him informed because he really wants to by a SS, i said will do.

As "CLEAN" as you keep your HHR it is like a rolling business card especially in the IBM color .....

I'd say that's a pretty good compliment if someone comes to your door and wants to buy your HHR!

I agree w/ goetylsd, that's one hell of a compliment Rodney (but I already told you that lol). If that were me, I'd put him in my SS, then take him to the dealer where I bought mine and tell them to take care of him (unless he came to my door with a boatload of cash on hand.... Hmm. )

Makes me wonder what his terms were with the dealer. I never thought of the SS as a car that was not a good value for what you get. I paid 21,500 for mine in 2008 mainly due to the GM discount but most sold in the $24K - $26K range did they not. May not have all the bells and whistles of a $30K car but it offered a good bang for the buck if you were in the market for a family type car with a bit of get up and go behind it. More room and power than most of the competitors including the PT Turbo.
