SS Wheels - were there any options?

While looking at SS models (photos), all have the same SS Wheel, but 1 2009 SS 5 sp.
Has a alloy polished wheel with center cap the same "Bowtie".
The wheel is different, has more solid 5 spoke vs the split spoke design.

Hadn't seen any reference to optional SS wheels.
May be a aftermarket and simply used the center caps if they fit the wheels.

I’ve never seen that style wheels on SS or any other HHR.

the Malibu Max SS has Cobalt SS style wheels

Nope. Not from the factory.
"One wheel, one wheel only." (Sean Connery movie reference )

The "pickle fork" wheel was a GM option. Not specific to the HHR. But carried the same 5x110 bolt pattern.

That's interesting... so it's an optional GM Wheel, not an optional HHR wheel.
Kinda like the Mopar Optional Wheels, they sell for any vehicle... just Mopar Wheels.
GM has optional wheels to fit their vehicles.
I was curious, because they normally make their hub dust cap unique in shape behind to prevent being used on other branded wheels.
Good to know.

I think it was more of an option for the Mailbu's of the same time. Dealerships would install to give that different look. Saw lots on EBay as well.

I'd agree on the Dealership installing, to provide a new look... but all the eBay I've watched over the last 2 years, I haven't seen them on HHR's.
At the sametime, I find it a good looking wheel set, and it does give it a nice look.
