State of Trifecta tunes?
A while back I noticed some threads about Trifecta scaling back the aggressiveness of their tunes for us.
Now on their site all I see is Cadillac. I do know retailers still sell their tunes. They were the rage before I had to scale back my forum time and now seem to be less prominent.
When my warranty expires I was planning to upgrade pipes and IC and do a tune that's pushes further than my GMTU.
Is Trifecta for our cars now basically same as GMTU or still give more?
Are they still "actively" servicing and data logging to customoze our cars or are the retailers just selling what they already had?

Well I got my answer from a Trifecta dealer. Looks like my fears are confirmed and my plan for a more aggressive but safe tune will just have to translate into a more powerful purchase when my SS had run it's course. It's still fun though! I guess I missed a lot while I had been inactive on the boards. Damn automatics!
Their response... "Yeah the automatic goes into limp mode once you hit more than GMS1 power levels for some reason. Some do, some don't, but yeah for the auto they are offering GMS1/GMTU power, maybe slightly higher. The manual trans cars still get full power. Yeah pretty much, we can make it drive differently with throttle changes and stuff, or make it so you can run an atmospheric BOV, but power wise it won't make much more. And yes Trifecta still fully supports the HHR SS. "
