I have my 2nd HHR now. and I go back to 2007 with the other one. Today I got out of the casr at the PO and came back, stuck the keu in and the steering column was locked up.

This is something Ihave wanted to do for several years but it has never locked. Even with the electric pump off, it would still move very hard. I never really looked into it.

What combination of something did I accidentaly do to lock it so i can continue this?

Got it, wheel has to be turn either left or right a bit for it to lock up, not straight.
