I believe Tony aka tcstoy did something similar to his and here's what he did. If he doesn't respond in the next couple days, send him a PM. I took this picture when I was headed to Kansas Speedway last summer when we met up with Rollin.

Lou,
I have seen those steering wheel covers all over ebay in assorted colors. Here is a link.

It says they fit a cobalt too, so maybe a trip to the local junk yard would do the trick.

I took a piece of the same vinyl used for my flames and cut it into a bowtie that goes over the gold one on my steering wheel. But I like that domed thing, and will look into getting one.

Night, Thanks but I think they would have a hard time believing me. I had to pry the darn thing off with a screwdriver trying to "fix" it. lol

I am looking at other options, but I think I have learned my lession. Dont get P.O.ed and Jam on the horn...

Called a local dealer, its a part of the air bag and does NOT come separately. DAMN! So now, I am looking for a replacement something to put in there. Its got to be very close in circumference to the original to cover the slots.

Anyone have suggestions???

HELP!

Groovielou
Can you maybe find one at a salvage yard or on e-bay?

Take a look @ some different wheel centers ( road wheels, not steering ), if you could find one the same diameter, could easily be attached to airbag. These would probably be more durable than these steering wheel centers everyone is denting!
