Steering wheel turns when braking

So, nice little issue on my 06 2.4. the steering wheel turns to the right when I step on the brakes. It's not the alignment, that's been checked. I just replaced the calipers, pads, and rotors, along with the rubber hoses. So, it's not a sticking caliper. Kinda leaves 2 issues that jump out.
THe struts, but that seems highly unlikely. The steering rack, is then the next possible culprit, it would seem. It is the original rack, and it has 208,000 miles on it.
Car does seem slightly squirrelly going down the road.
I suppose it may be a wheel bearing, but There is no noise with it. Anyone have something like this?

If the vehicle is pulling when braking indicates an issue with the brakes.
Replaced calipers does not guarentee no sticking.
Recheck your work.
Did you bleed the brake system?
That may seem like a dumb question but it was not mentioned in your repair work.
OR, a the control arm is bad.

Well, I suppose it could be the lca, but those have been replaced in the last 2 years. The old ones never did that, even with pretty nuked bushings.
brakes got bled well and have good feel to them. When I hit the brakes, aside from the pull, it stops hard. Looking at symptoms of a bad rack, that is a strong candidate.
OUter ties are about 2 years old. Replaced sway links and bushings last summer. Ball joints done with lca. Most of the front end is fairly new.

How’s the back brakes, clean and adjusted correctly?
How are the front flex hoses? an old failing hose can do more expanding then braking!
A bad steering rack would wobble and wiggle at all speeds in acceleration and under braking.

I never heard of a rack or struts causing that. LCA or bad caliper strong candidates. Did this start before or after the brake work? Any body think to adjust the rear brakes?

Sound like a the 'good old tire shake while off the ground' test is in order.

Was doing it before brake work. Replaced the rubber hoses, too. So, the calipers should be good, they are brand new. Unless there is some odd issue with the master or abs unit. I guess I could jack up 1 side at a time and shake things.
