Stiff Steering

Hey! Guys Woke up got in my car and the Power Steering Was Out Drove down the block and now it Works Fine Any ideas What I am going to Need Next?? 2007 HHR

Extended warranty at your GM dealership for the electric power steering motor.

x2 - and note it is an extended warranty, not a recall. If you mention recall to the dealer, they will not be able to help.

Called Chevy And They said Steering Motor Was Warranty for Life So i Made a appt Getting Ignition recall done Too Thanks For reply !!

Power steering extended warranty

If You Have a Problem With Your Power Steering Motor They Are Guaranteed For Life FREE! Then There Are 2 Recalls For Ignition Got Those recalls Done Also Got a Free Xtra Key $50 Value considering I Needed a Spare Anyways Thought i Might Share That with Yall Hope This Helped Thanks to OldBlue. I googled Extended warranty And BAM!!

Yes, we know that and regularly tell people about both. We even have a link to check on recalls conveniently as a sticky in the RECALL section of the site. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/gm-r...-status-50716/

FWIW; both of those bits of info are more than 5 years old. Recall mailings and extended warranty mailings were clogging my mail box.

The ignition recall kit comes with 2 new keys. You didn't get an "extra". The kit even includes those tiny little key rings.
Anyhow. Here's a pic of the kit from 5 years years ago when most owners had the recall work done. Just in case anyone was wondering what parts are included with the ignition recall work.
